boxing/sparring roosters or “sabong”

fighting cock boxing

This is what we call “sabong” in the Philippines. This is a scene of 2 roosters boxing/sparring.  There is no blood shed during this fight.  They will usually call it off before it gets worse. These fights can last for a few seconds to a minute or two.  Rarely do they go over than that.  This is sort of their exercise or conditioning days prior to a real fight.  This will also test if the roosters are ready for the real bloody one.
